Thick paper
A basic finish, 180gsm really thick paper.
Paper cheques are perfect for single use and the most cost effective option.Thick paper + Laminated finish
Same as above but laminated with a dry wipe marker friendly laminated film applied on top of the paper; adds durability for multiple uses.
Rigid PVC Board
Printed on a self adhesive vinyl sheet mounted onto a 3mm Foamex board with the drywipe laminate film applied on top.
Rigid PVC Board + Laminated finish
As above but added durability with the same dry wipe safe laminate. Very durable.

Birthday Cheque – Case Study
Millie’s 18th
(Our favourite design… ever!)
Project Brief
Claire contacted us asking to help create a wow factor for her daughter’s 18th Birthday surprise.
Mum, Dad & Nan had clubbed together to gift Mille some money as her special18th Birthday present.
What better way to highlight their generous gift than to create a big visual wow with a personalised giant birthday cheque!
This would be perfect in photos to mark the occasion.
Design process
Understanding it was an important gift from Mum, Dad & Nan we decided to ask for more information about what Millie was planning to spend the money on…
Turns out the money was going towards the cost of Millie’s 1st car, we probed further and found out Millie’s favourite car was a Fiat 500…
Boom! Our professional graphic designers instantly knew what to do with the design of Millie’s Birthday Cheque. Using the latest Adobe design software; Photoshop and illustrator, our designers got to work
We cut out her photograph and Photoshopped Millie into the driving seat of her favourite car… Added the personalised number plate and then just for the finishing touch, added the Fiat 500 logo on the top right of the Birthday Cheque.
Print production
Talking to Claire about the different printing options it was clear her priority was to give high impact and look great in photos so she decided on an extra large cheque.
Not needing to reuse the cheque there was no need to add a dry wipe laminated finish to Millie’s Cheque.
This also kept the costs down and she was very happy with a basic thick paper finish.
Conclusion
Claire was super chuffed with the design, communication, print finish and everything we did to help Millie celebrate a special Birthday…
Most importantly Mille loved her Giant Cheque!
Charity Cheque – Case Study
Emmanuel House Support Centre
Project Brief
Fran and Aiden contacted us explaining they had recently held a Charity Coffee Morning selling cakes and drinks. The focus was to raise money for a local charity, Emmanuel House Support Centre.
Having raised a substantial amount of money from the coffee morning Fran had organised local press to be at the charity when she handed over the generous donations.
Fran wanted to raise awareness of the good work the support centre offers to vulnerable, isolated and homeless people in Nottingham.
What better way to give exposure to a local charity than to use a photo opportunity and print a huge charity cheque with the charity logo on!
Design process
Apparently it was a very community spirited coffee morning, many local residents, school parents and friends enjoyed the cakes and drinks 😋!
Rob (Fran and Aiden’s friend) from Boxed Drinks Limited and the Little Red Coffee Van supported the event and provided essential hot drinks for the adults… A large percentage of his proceeds adding to the charity total.
Knowing that the coffee van man had generously donated much of his takings on the day we knew he would appreciate a bit of exposure of his company and branding so we took the colours from his logo and made that the centre of our design.
Print production
This giant charity cheque needed to be big and bold so obviously needed to be one of our Huge cheques. Also not being sure of where the presentation would be (inside or outside) Fran thought it best to give a dry-wipe lamintation to protect it from the elements.
To cut costs down a bit it was printed on paper so easily rolled into a cardboard tube and a lot cheaper delivery cost.

Presentation Cheque – Case Study

Project Brief
We were asked to design a presentation cheque for a thriving local business.
The company management had started a recognition scheme where staff who excelled were rewarded in a monthly recognition award event.The final award was given to the staff member voted as ‘Employee of the Month’ and awarded £50.
It was this final award that the management wanted to highlight…
And what better way to shine a light on the generous prize giving than to print a big cheque to show it off in a photoshoot.
Design
As a large corporate client we knew it was important to include company logo in a prominent place.
The company banked with Barclays Bank so wanted this to be a feature on their personalised cheque too.
Print production
The employee presentation awards were organised on a monthly basis so it needed to be a reusable presentation cheque.
It was important for it to be hard wearing and durable so we were to cover the cheque with our dry-wipe laminate so could be used over and over.
Most of the details on the giant cheque would be the same each month so these were to be printed on the cheque with a bold hand writing font; Amount, for and on behalf of, account payee account, sort code and cheque number.
The Month and Account Payee fields were to be left blank so they could be hand written each month with a dry wipe marker pen.

How does it work?
Choose your giant cheque design – Bank or Charity. Just fill in the online form and let us know how you would like it personalising.
Change any of the wording free of charge or leave blank to fill in yourself.
We will always change the colour scheme of the jumbo cheque to best suit your chosen bank or charity logo.
Once we receive your order, our in house graphic designers will get to work and prepare a draft copy of your presentation cheque for you to approve or make any changes.
You are more than welcome to make changes i.e. Move that wording here, make the logo bigger etc.
An email proof is always emailed for approval before we print your cheque.
Once you are 100% happy with the design of your product then we will send your design to our bespoke counterfeit printing press and get your order printed and posted.
The whole process takes 1-2 weeks depending on how busy we are. Please note we try to process orders as quickly as possible and sometimes are able to provide draft copy the same working day.
